Ninja's specialty ingredients

Ninjas are said to have eaten a balanced and healthy diet so that they don't get fat and heavy.
It is believed that soy foods (tofu, etc.) and meats (venison peaches, etc.) were ingested with protein, calcium, iron, etc., and vitamins were taken from fruits such as persimmons in order to build a body on a regular basis. It is also said that they ate porridge (millet, adlay, etc.) with plenty of vegetables as an energy source to move their bodies.
And when the ninja got on duty, he usually ate weeds such as ants, grasshoppers, dandelions and mugwort so that he could eat anything. As portable food, "Hyorogan" introduced below and Hishi-no-mi, which is used as "Makibishi" when escaping, have also become food.
With these things in mind, we have arranged the ingredients in a contemporary style and incorporated them into the menu.

Ninja's commitment

Our ancestors are the authors of the ninjutsu mystery book "Bansenshukai" written in the Edo period.
In connection with this, the item description is made into a scroll style as a ninja book so that you can enjoy the atmosphere of Shinobi no Sato with various gimmicks.

Ninja's commitment mobile food-Hyorogan-

Ninjas have been trained to fast for about 10 days, but if they don't drink and eat for too long, even ninjas will fall down.
For those times, I made and brought a special portable food to overcome hunger and thirst. That is "Hyorogan".

The ingredients are: ・ Glutinous rice ・ Uruchi rice ・ Lotus meat ・ Yamayaku ・ Kokoro Katsura ・ Yokuinin ・ Carrot ・ Rock candy All of these are powdered, kneaded with water, rolled to a diameter of about 1 cm, and steamed into dumplings. The ingredients and quantities are formulated according to the literature in the "Old Story Collection". Ninjas are said to have eaten about 30 dumplings a day as a source of nutrition.

Bansenshukai, a descendant of Nagato Morihotoyo Fujibayashi, who was a landlord of Iga during the Warring States period, was written by Yasutake Fujibayashi in 1676. The author, Yasutake Fujibayashi, was born in Iga's Yubune, which is located on the border between Iga and Koga. It is said that it was compiled like this.
Sincerity (ethics) is the first, and wisdom (conductor's knowledge), yang shinobi (conspiracy), yin shinobi (infiltration), heaven (astronomical and meteorological), ninja (climbing) Ninja tools such as water bowls, openers, and firearms). Bansenshukai was exactly the ninjutsu biography common to Iga and Koga.
His ancestor, Fujibayashi Nagato Morihotoyo, served the lord of Suruga, Yoshimoto Imagawa, and lived in Suruga. It is said that he taught ninjutsu.
The "Old Story Collection", which is said to have been written by Kansuke, also included things that seemed to be ninjutsu and Hyorogan.
The Hyorogan we are offering is a faithful reproduction of this.
In other words, the Hyorogan, which the ancestors of the shop owner told Kansuke Yamamoto, was revived through Kansuke's "Old Story Collection".

Hyorogan can burn body fat efficiently, and at the same time, it has effects such as nourishing tonic, sedative effect, anti-stress effect, and stomachic effect by blending crude drugs.
The sweetness of rock candy is also effective in relieving fatigue.

It seems that there were other things such as Hunger Maru and Ninjutsu Mizuki Maru.
At our restaurant, we serve Hyorogan at the end of the meal.
